This tends to come from stress or mental illness, and many people tend to associate this feeling with suicide, even when that can be wrong. This feeling is often described as “drowning†in life. Like everything around you is trying to suffocate you, like no matter what you do you can’t find the surface to take a breath. But this feeling can be overcome. With help from therapy, friends, family, partners, you can overcome this feeling of hopelessness and make your life something you want to live. You don’t have to feel like you’re dying. It can be a hard road, but once reach the end it is more than worth it!

There could be many reasons for this, and it's different for every person. I know that feeling is scary and confusing. A few possible reasons could be: trauma/PTSD (common), anxiety (common) stress, depression, physical health concerns... Personally when I get that feeling it's related to my Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which is common to feel like you're dying because of. I would suggest talking to your doctor and/or a therapist to find some answers! Sometimes there is a lot of reasons we feel this way all happening at once. Regardless of why you think you're dying all the time you deserve a life with less worry and where you can feel fully alive!

-It could be fear of death.. It is possible that you fear death so direly that you start thinking of it and being paranoid because of it.. You'd start imagining each situation ending in your own death.. And i feel like that a lot too.. -It could also be you being prepared to die.. Maybe you feel like you fulfilled all your dreams and therefore do not bother to make any new ones, and you, yet again, imagine yourself dying.. Thats wrong too, because you should never ever say that you've fulfilled all your desires. Human's wants are unlimited and you are no exception.. So keep desiring things and try to steer away from such negative thoughts because it means you'd be letting your guard down.. Hope my answer helped ^^ have a good day

Have you ever thought about why you feel this way? Personally I’ve struggled with this as well. The thought of death is natural. Is there a time where this is on your mind more than others? Speaking from experience, I think about this usually when I remember memories of those close to me that have passed? Death is apparent and can happen. Thinking about dying is important, it’s a real thing that will happen to us one day. Can you elaborate on the term dying? Do you believe you will die or the thought of dying one day often crosses your mind?

Thinking of death is normal and inevitable. Death is the antonym of living, so as we are living, we naturally think about the end of it.
It is especially normal to think about death often when there was a recent death around you. Maybe an attack, accident, illness, etc. This is especially true if someone very close to you has died recently, has a serious illness, or had a near-death experience. However, if you are thinking of dying because it sounds nicer than living, that's when you know you might have depression. Are you thinking that you are dying because you WANT to die? If this thought continues for a while, consecutively, you may need to seek help.

First off, being equipped with the knowledge that this is a somewhat common source of difficulty for people with anxiety can help you better recognize when this is happening and mitigate the discomfort that you might feel. You should also figure out whether you have anything to actually be concerned about. Go to your doctor and tell them your concerns. Here’s the thing, though. You gotta believe what they tell you. Finally, you can work on better recognizing your anxiety triggers and where your brain is throwing you off track, by engaging in some simple exercises like the 7 cups anxiety log, you should feel a little better

It may be because you are experiencing some sort of anxiety in the moment. If so, try drinking some water, walking outside or distracting yourself in any way, this will help you focus on something other than the anxiety/panic that you are experiencing. Furthermore, you could be feeling this way because you are overwhelmed, which again, leads into anxiety and stress. If so, take a few breaths, listen to some calming music and evaluate your situation once you are calm. Clearing your mind before taking action is a very big step to getting better. Take time to think about what is going on in your life and finding the problem will become easier.

When you do not feel the life in you, you lost the meaning of life. It's like you don't feel anything inside or outside or any emotion. It's like you are losing your breath. You don't have anything left to do or to live. Everything in life lost its essence, and we find no reason to move forward. We call for death when we don't have hope to live. It's hard to define what exactly is going through. For example, when when you look back to your past, you feel whatever you did were worthless. It was a total waste of life you've lived. Now, when you watch what you are doing now or looking forward to your future, you see there no improvement. That makes your life meaningless and hopeless. Those who are around us, they'd also feel the depression and the negative energy radiating from you. People will start to feel impossible for you, and they will leave alone there dying. It's one of the worst feelings a human can go through. If you ask, is there anything for help? I'd say, yes. There is help; sometimes it may be from someone who hasn't lost hope from us or sometimes it may be a realization from within or sometimes the spirituality gives us a promise to look at the brighter side of our life.

You are probably experiencing panic attacks, which are a consequence of anxiety. A common symptom of panic attacks is imminent-death thoughts, which can be terrifying. However, you should not fear but rather embrace that pain. I know that sounds counter-intuitive, but I had panic attacks and death thoughts countless times, so I am confident in reassuring you those thoughts, while really strong and apparently very real at first, fade away usually not that long after, usually within a pair of hours, maximum. Truth be told, the more you try to hold on to them, the more they'll chase you. I regularly use the "moving-sand" analogy to these events, the more you struggle the worse it gets.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
