Sometimes we're scared of change, we would rather try and fix what we have then to just start fresh.

I have been through a similar experience and I think its due to the fact we want to maintain the relationship no matter how badly we know to break up, We spend so much time and effort into getting to know one another and it can be difficult to end it just like that, You convince yourself it is for the best and you will be able to get through it, no matter what, but in the end we realise eventually it is for the best, after trying so hard to make it work and spending endless hours crying about what went wrong, somethings are just not meant to be, and you come to terms with that eventually, and you accept that the relationship isn't right and is making you a person you do not want to be. It can take time to do this, and there is no rush, just remember there is support and advice out there, try looking at the self help guide on this website, or visit websites such as youthnet or thesite.org for tips to. Just remember you are not alone :)

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
