People are human. It is healthy to have a measure of awareness and self protectiveness. People that you can trust are always nice because you dont have to worry about those kinds of things. Find your group that you dont have to be worried if they will try to take advantage of you.

Because you're thinking people are judging you at the back, and it makes you feel unsafe. It's normal to feel that way, especially when you're not confident about yourself.

Maybe because it really is unsafe, but sometimes the feeling is caused by overthinking. The best thing to do, in my opinion, is to still be cautious but do not overthink and just go with the flow. That's why I do anyway.

When in a large crowd, you may feel unsafe or as though there is no easy way to escape the situation. You also may have concerns that you could be caught off guard at any moment. As a result, you may feel constantly on edge, fearful, anxious, and/or irritable when in a large crowd. These feelings may eventually lead you to avoid going out of your home for fear of encountering large crowds.
However, there are ways of coping with large crowds so as to reduce the likelihood of experiencing high levels of fear and anxiety.
Here is one example
Practice Deep Breathing
Deep breathing is a very simple way of coping with stress and anxiety. Learning how to engage in deep breathing (also called diaphragmatic breathing) can help reduce anxious arousal and bring about relaxation. This can be a particularly useful coping strategy when you are in a situation that you can not readily get out of (such as being stuck in a large crowd).

Sometimes when we have social anxiety, we feel unsafe in certain situations. Sometimes when we have experienced past trauma involving another person, we may feel unsafe when there are a lot of persons around us. Think deeply on your question, for only you really know the answer to it. It's okay to choose not to be in crowds, we always should seek what's best for our personal well-being. If you cannot avoid crowds and feeling unsafe is affecting your day-to-day wellbeing, it's okay to seek professional counselling or help.

You may feel unsafe because you have trust issues. When you're in a crowd, you can feel smushed and all. It is common to feel this way, because you never know who you're surrounded by. You could also unsafe because you're afraid to be embarrassed in front of a large amount of people, and that's totally okay. We all have that fear :) A lot of people have anxiety, and being around a large group of people can trigger that too. This fear is called Agoraphobia. A lot of people also have the fear of being in tight spaces, which also trigger that.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
