Sometimes you just need that break and your body knows. Sometimes you need to have a moment for yourself. This may be an indicator that you're too stressed and overloaded. Of course it's not always good to skip class, but in the long-term you need to think about what's best for yourself. If taking a day off for mental health will be better for you than forcing yourself to go to a stressful environment, then the day off is the correct decision. If it's been a while and you still have no motivation, think about the benefits of attending the class. Is there material you're looking forward to covering? Any classmates you want to see?

Perhaps you feel a bit unmotivated to attend the class that you mention. How about trying to make a list consisting of what you do not like there? Is it the subject? Is it the teaching method? Is it your classmates? Or is it just too early for you? Once you identify what bothers you, you can try to write down a plan on order to overcome difficulties. For instance, you could say that if the lesson begins very early, you will go to sleep one hour earlier than you usually do. Try to make small changes in your daily routine in order to find the motivation to do what you want!

Thanks very much for reaching out today. It is great to hear from you! I understand going to class can be challenging at time especially when it means leaving the comfort of our homes. Is there anything going on today in particular that is bringing about this feeling? Do you feel like being alone today? Are you having a solo day and wanting to just be alone? or is this frequent? We can't force ourselves to do anything really, it is normal to not want to attend class sometimes. Are you feeling tired today?

Well classes, everyone skipped them at least once or pretended to be sick to their parents so they don't have to go to school. Sometimes you might just not want to go because of the grades or you just feel burnt out or depressed or like you just need a break, which is normal. But thinking positive, about your own future can really help that situation fix unless there's a bigger problem behind. The more classes there are that are skipped, the bigger problem comes and the more you actually DON'T wanna go to school. Now forcing yourself might be hard but remember, you are your own boss!

Motivation occurs by the reward that you begin to feel AFTER you have begun the action. Do not wait to be motivated to go to class...just go to class, and then you will be able to emotionally reward yourself for having gone to class, and that should then serve to motivate you to sit through the class (which will in turn give you a greater emotional reward will will serve to motivate you further.) So, in summary - you need to recognize that you should not wait for motivation before you act, but rather you need to just take a small step in the right direction, and that should serve to emotionally motivate you further.
