This includes stimulant based meds like Adderall and Wellbutrin, so if you've recently started taking stimulants or increased your intake, that's a likely cause. Anxiety can be our body's natural fight/flight response. Our body can react in this way when it perceives "danger". Sometimes, anxiety can occur at times when there is no danger we are fully aware of or conscious of. Sometimes we can feel the symptoms of anxiety, such as rapid heart beat, and still be able to separate it from being an emotion in our thought process. Instead, we may be able to see it as a physiological response and symptoms that our body can encounter at times.

It may be a good idea for you to talk to a professional who can help you uncover why you are feeling the way you are and in turn, help to combat that feeling in an appropriate way.
