When it's interfering with you living your life like any other person without anxiety would. If you're making the conscious effort to stay inside when someone invites you out somewhere, or you're having constant panic attacks, it's probably time to get some help with it.

The others are right when they say you should seek it if it interrupts your normal life. This can be vague. I guess you could keep a record of how you're feeling and how it has been affecting your life so that you have something to refer to when you see a professional. Hope you get better.

In my personal case, anxiety has made me feel dizzy, tired all day, paranoid and reluctant to do physical activities. I believe this impacts you as a social and healthy human being, so to overcome this, I believe it is important to talk to somebody about your anxiety.

The general rule for when to seek medical attention is when it interferes with your everyday function. However, you can definitely talk to a medical professional even if you're worried that it *might* interfere. However if your anxiety significantly impacts you life, you should probably talk to a medical professional about it.

You should seek medical attention at any time when you feel your anxiety gets in the way of your daily life. If you aren't feeling like your regular self, or notice an extreme pattern that prevents you from doing some things, that's when it might be time to visit a doctor!
