Worrying is stupid, because things will happen either way. You get nothing but despair when you are worrying.

A good way to help yourself from constantly worrying is to ask yourself, "is what I'm worrying about something that I have the ability to change? if not, what is making me worry about this?" If you have the ability to change it, then ask yourself what you can do to change it. If not, you can take a jar and label it, "things I worry about that I have no control about." When you worry about something you can't control, write it down and put it in the jar. After you put it in the jar, try to imagine it leaving your mind and staying in the jar. When you feel comfortable about that topic and no longer worry about it, throw away the paper and let that symbolize that you will no longer worry about that.

Stay present and be in the moment. Just focus on right now instead of things from the past or things in the future. Be right here, right now and do one thing at a time.
