It might be due to the lack of some brain chemicals. It might be due to loneliness also. In such cases, I'd reccommend the guest/member to consult a qualified therapist, preferably a psychiatrist.

It could mean you are shy, you have anxiety, you have some "disorder" or you have reasons to feel nervous. If there are reasons to feel nervous, think about what those reasons could be and why

"No reason" is a matter of perspective. Your brain may be picking up on cues that your conscious mind is unaware of. Or you simply may not have identified your triggers (things that cause your nervousness) yet. Another possibility is that your physiology is triggering your feelings of nervousness -- the complex reactions in our brains don't always go as planned. If you feel anxious often, try and keep a record of what is going on when you experience the feeling. Maybe you can figure out the cause. And remember, everyone gets nervous, sometimes for "no reason." The time to pay attention to it is if it becomes disruptive to your life.

It could mean you are just shy, but it's also an indication of anxiety. There always is a reason for being nervous, whether it's something subtle or not. Nervousness is not uncommon though. However it's best to see a professional if it affects your daily life.

It depends. You might have an upcoming exam but just aren't thinking about it at the moment. It also could be a person you like but you just don't really feel like you have feelings. If you really don't know.. I'd suggest telling someone and maybe they could help you.

Sometimes anxiety is hard to explain and pinpoint what the exact cause of it may be. I think it's important for you to keep track when you feel this way to try to understand what triggers you or what is going on at your life in the moment that is causing you to feel nervous or stressed. It's important to also find methods to help calm you down at times like these and see what works for you personally.
