It could be a result of having an anxiety disorder, especially likely if it's a chronic issue. Anxiety often fuels or accompanies depression. Thankfully, anxiety is treatable, with help from medications and/or therapy. It is quite common, and there is a large community ready to lend support. If it's a new or acute development, perhaps there is something on your mind bothering you which hasn't yet been resolved. The issue may be in your subconscious or even memories, not necessarily at the front of your mind, which can make it harder to recognize as the source of the anxiety.

Getting nervous for no reason is most often called anxiety. It's your body's natural response to stress. Lots of times, people are stressed, even in the littlest ways, without even realizing it. You might be a little uncomfortable, or be curious about why something's happening that has to do with you. People with more severe anxiety's brains go into overdrive and start making up reasons for this. Our imaginations are some of the scariest things, so when our brain gets a little afraid or confused, it starts to create random scenarios that can get us worried for no reason. This is normal, but if it gets too much for you, you can always get self-help, like try mindfulness, or you could try therapy.

Being nervous for no reason can mean many things, such as.... 1) You have been keeping these feelings in before and haven't been expressing them 2) Something must have happened to you to make you feel this way, it could be something traumatic also 3) You might have an anxiety disorder and I suggest you should get that checked with a mental health professional or speak to someone you trust. I think an activity you should do when that happens is to write your feelings in your mind down. All of them! This can help you a lot, I think. Maybe make a list about anything you need to get done today as well.

Usually something bothering you subconsciously that you aren’t fully aware of or aware of it happening at all through out my entire life as long as I can possibly remember I’ve dealt with this later I found out I have bad anxiety. Anxiety is terrible especially when you have no idea what it is that your so winded up over and you’re just there freaking out inside then you think about what others think of you acting this way and it makes the entire thing worse and worse like a chain reaction that just keeps going until your mind is calm

It's often the irrational part of your brain taking over, maybe because it's an unfamiliar situation or something else you are anxious about. Something feels off to you and you may want to escape the situation but it might just be the brain chemistry of anxiety taking over. You could be entirely safe in the location you are in but something has rang an alarm bell in your mind and provided an anxious response to the situation. Your body may also release stress hormones that may cause you to feel physical symptoms, like sweating, trembling, nausea or increased heart rate.

There may be something on your mind that is in your subconscious and you haven't been able to address it because of this. Now that these nerves and their related issues are being addressed you will feel a sense of well-being and sometimes closure. This can be a weight off your mind and you can then address other things that are at the forefront of your mind and that require you to deal with them as soon as possible. Sometimes we are not even aware that a thought can have as much influence over some of the outcomes in our lives.

That happens quite often - for me that usually is a sign of anxiety. I have discovered that both positive and negative feelings can cause anxiety because they trigger the same part of the brain, so the body reponds to it in the same way. Most of the time I think there is a reason, but because there are so many triggers for anxiety, it's easy for individual reasons to get lost, and we end up not really being aware of the reasons anymore. Still I think it's important to take the time to distinguish between positive and negative anxiety, as that might mean that it can lower the overall frequency of experiencing negative anxiety. Positive anxiety is still anxiety, but it is a more positive state of being and experience.

It means your body is physically responding to an external stressor and making you feel anxious. Many times if we are in a situation that reminds us of something bad that has happened to us in the past, it can trigger our brain to activate our fight or flight response, which results in the physical nervous feeling. I would pay attention to what is going on around you when you begin to feel nervous, and see if you can identify what is triggering you. It might be a certain smell, the feeling of a particular material, hearing a particular song, or seeing a particular person.
