Nervousness comes and goes, sometimes for no apparent reason. And nervousness can come with a delayed reaction. We have a tendency to suppress our feelings and emotions as a defense mechanism. At the strangest time and when we least expect it, our emotions can come out in an uncontrolled way. Think over the past and similar situations. What happened yesterday and the day before. Can you recall any situations where you felt a little nervous and uncomfortable? There can be a delayed reaction.
Quiet down. Relax. Think about times when you felt nervous. What happened to lead up to it? If you can recall similar situations when you felt nervous in the past, it may give you an indication of the root cause.

There is always a reason. Try to figure out what the trigger is. What is the feeling deep inside yourself? Is it rage, anger, sadness..? If you find the trigger ask yourself why is it disturbing you? Try to understand yourself. Then if you feel nervous, the next time you will know why and it will be easier to handle the situation because you are aware of it.
If you can`t find the trigger, ask yourself when was the last time you felt ok? What happened after that? Did you speak to someone, did something bad happen to you?

From my experience it is usually based upon my thoughts. Negative thoughts about myself. I’m not good enough, they won’t like me, I won’t do well, I’ll be embarrassed if I speak incorrectly, my option doesn’t matter, I’m not smart, all these negative thoughts and fears that we say in our mind take over us. We must speak lovingly to ourselves. Love our self. Accept all our flaws. There are no perfect people. Only ones who go forward and take a chance and speak nice words to themselves. We all have fear. It’s how we work through it. It gets easier as we practice more..at anything. Even self love.

I think it is an animal instinct based on the fight or flight DNA that we all have as animals but in the case of humans it has been developed to higher degree where we can get nervous in social situations because of peer pressure, sexual attraction, family conditioning, or learned behaviour. It is also an instinct that has probably propelled us to become the most successful animal on the face of the earth as we instinctively react to all sorts of situations by using our nervous system and not just the ones in which we are physically threatened as is the case with most animals.

When you get nervous for no reason, it is plain indication that something in your subconscious mind is bothering you. You may be unaware of it, on the surface it may seem like you're comfortable with a certain issue, but the nervousness suggests otherwise.
During these situations, both the physical and mental being get tensed up. To be able to calm down during these sure is a task but not absolutely tough. Just breathe in, breathe out and try talk to yourself to understand yourself better. It'll not only help getting over the situation but also improve self awareness.

When I get nervous but I can not identify the cause, it sometimes means that there is an underlying issue that i haven't addressed. However, there does not need to be a solid reason for being nervous. It could also be a symptom of an anxiety disorder. In this case, it could be a good idea to keep track of when you are feeling nervous and possibly take that information to a doctor or a psychiatrist. I find it helpful to keep track of when I am feeling nervous so that I can better understand myself and recognize the patterns of my nervousness.

It depends a lot from person to person, why you get nervous. Just because you get nervous, it doesn't indicate to you being anxious. Yet it depeends on the situation. You can easily become nervous, whenever you gotta perform, exams, talking to strangers, and what so ever; and that would be completely normal! However if you get nervous about serval of atuff, you don't even know why you get nervous about, such as small things there are normal to do, then it might be some kind of anxiety. this is not sure though, I'm not a doctor, so I can't promise you that what I'm saying is right, but that's my personal experince.

According to my personal experience, when a person gets nervous for no reason, there can be multiple reasons. For starters, they can subconsciously be afraid of the situation they are in or are feeling extremely awkward, When someone gets nervous and they don't know the reason its because there are multiple things that have been bothering them and this is the result of suppressing all these feelings for a certain period of time. Also feeling nervous is very common. Ones daily life struggle and the power to underestimate themselves and have a lack of self-confidence leads to nervousness in any situation with no reason.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
