I think it doesn't necessarily have to mean anything all the time you feel nervous. It can be just a chemical imbalance in the brain. Thinking not much and acknowledging the feeling would be a best option:-)

Without any other information it can be kind of hard to determine, but sometimes this is an indication of an anxiety disorder. If you often feel nervous, sometimes for seemingly no reason, this is likely an indicator. Other symptoms can include chills/hot flashes, sweating, increased heart rate and breathing, upset stomach, and a few other things. You may find yourself constantly over-thinking, sometimes over things that seem irrational. The best way to know for sure is to talk with a professional or trusted adult, and seek help if you think you need it.

Oftentimes anxiety can show itself in odd ways. This can be the result of a trigger, and sometimes it doesn't have to be. Your brain may be subconsciously wandering into the territory of topics you didn't know cause you to be nervous. I often find that I feel nervous when I am about to have an anxiety attack, and thus tell someone I care deeply about how I am feeling. Perhaps you are under a situation that stresses you out a lot? There is a lot of context that goes into determining whether it is a real anxiety disorder or just nervousness caused by an environmental stress factor. Best of luck!

It means that you must likely have a form of generalized anxiety. I would definitely talk to a medical professional about that.
