Sometimes I feel that way too. Perhaps you have an underlying fear that you may have unaddressed or you are conditioned to be nervous in that type of situation. Do you think that you may be experiencing anxiety? I'd suggest you get it checked if you feel that your nerves/anxiety are interfering with your daily life.

Depends if this is a more situational temporary thing or more permanent. If you are generally stressed it could be that you are just on edge and little things will trigger you. Or in an extreme case it could be something along the lines of an anxiety disorder. Try and see how long this last. Watch for triggers and if this gets serious you can consider asking your doctor about it. Don't worry though, more than likely it is just stress, but even if it is an anxiety disorder, it is nothing to afraid of. You'll be okay.

Feeling nervous could have many different meanings. You may not be aware of the reason, but there is always a reason bhind it. For example, you may unconsciously be worried about something, especially before, during or after exam period. You need to look into your personal life in order to establish the reasons for your nervousness.

I don't think I ever really get nervous for no reason. If I get nervous, it means I'm suppressing something, or dwelling on something. I feel like I usually have a pretty good idea about what's gnawing at me- the reason I get stuck is that I don't have access to the solution for whatever reason, or the "solution" is something that's out of my immediate control. For example, sometimes I will worry about the future, but that's something I have no control over, and therefore I get stuck, and need to find alternate solutions (like doing an exercise, or speaking to a friend or listener). Of course, it's not always so simple.

It's just anxiety, those things happen. Our body kind of just freaks out a little bit before something happens just because we haven't thought through what will happen and all but those things are very normal.

I would say that's a part of having anxiety. I get nervous for no apparent reason a lot. My therapist has been able to help me identify some underlying causes (triggers, if you will), but I still don't know what causes my anxiety much of the time. Getting nervous for no apparent reason doesn't necessarily mean you have anxiety, but it does mean that you could likely benefit from relaxation techniques commonly used by people who do have anxiety (like deep breathing, guided meditations, and grounding techniques, to name a few).

It could mean several things. One possibility is that you've repressed some things that are bothering you and you need an outlet when those worries you aren't addressing become overwhelming. Talking with a Listener on 7 cups might help you find what you are repressing. In rare cases, nervousness for no reason are a neurological issue. If you have other symptoms, please get a health checkup.
