Your girlfriend is your girlfriend! If you guys have things in common, it's good to talk about that. If you guys don't have as much in common, try asking her questions to keep the conversation going. You could even pull up a list of prepared questions and topics-- no big deal, as long as you're conversing.

Talk to her about anything, television, books, movies, anything that you can think of. See what some of her interests are and talk to her about that or share your interests with her.

I guess about something you have in common or something you think it might interest her. You can tell her about your day and ask her about hers and let the conversation flow :)

To be honest, you should not have to ask that. You should be able to talk to your girlfriend about anything you wanted to talk to her about. Talk to each other about both of your days, family members, work, school, etc. There are many things you can talk about. :)

Start with the common things you share, like a band or a certain show, or even politics. Ask her about her day and how she is feeling, listen to her, show her that her words matter to you. Speak of the future and your plans, maybe plan a trip together and most importantly, show her that you care about her and love her.

Be polite. People only want other to be polite with them. Don't judge her, support her in her odds. Remember she counts on you and expects alot from you. Never tell her she is ugly or fat, make her feel good about herself.

Just be yourself. And being yourself will help you talk about whatever you want to talk about at that moment. Try to get to know each other, that'll also make you feel more comfortable around her. You'll find out with time that you don't even have to think about what to say anymore, since it just becomes part of your routine, which doesn't mean it has to become boring, quite the opposite actually, you can go into conversations with more and more meaning.

You don't have to. I don't know how long you've been dating, but it's a really amazing thing when you two can be in each others space without being in each others faces.
