So I love knitting when I get anxious because I can focus on it and create something and when it’s finished I can wear it a remind myself of my achievement.

One thing that helps me is to focus on something else. If you have a way to listen to music, then do that! Using the 5-4-3-2-1 method also works!

Take a deep breath and a nice warm shower. Treat yourself to anything you like. Play some relaxing music. Watching your favourite movies and shows helps too. What helps me the most if physical exercise. It helps me vent out all the negative thoughts. And also positive affirmations. Hope it helps you too. Best luck!

doing some form of artwork, reading a book, playing an interactive video game, going on a walk, playing with a pet, basically anything that will refocus your attention and take your mind off the anxiety.

Some things i’ve found that help me is,
1. talking to someone whether it’s texting, calling or in person
2. Listen to music, watch a movie, or read a book. This distracts your mind but doing something you really enjoy.
Something i do when i have anxiety is i chose to go off alone in the bathroom and listen to the water run in the shower it calms me down. If the anxiety gets really bad and you are hyperventilating grab a paper bag and breathe in to it, drink water and try to take deep breaths and relax.

It depends on what is making you feel very anxious. If possible try to get away from what is making you anxious, to a place that is calm and more relaxed for you. You can also try focusing on your 5 senses, what you can see, hear, smell, touch, taste. Mindfulness (focusing on the here and now) and other breathing and relaxing methods also might be helpful when your anxiety gets really bad.

Music. Exercising. Trying to talk about something you're passionate about maybe? Focusing in general on something else helps imo

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
