It’s okay to be scared to ask for help. It’s a very vulnerable thing and it can be hard to open up like that, especially to family. You know what you need but by not wanting to take action you’re taking away the possibility for it to happen. If you talk to your family and ask about therapy there’s is always a possibility that they will say no but if you don’t talk to them, there is a 100% chance that you won’t see a therapist. Sometimes it’s worth taking a risk in order to get a big reward.

i know it's scary to ask for therapy, but it's important. sit your family down and gently tell them what you're struggling with and that you think that therapy can help. tell them that you would be really appreciative if they payed for it, and point out all the good things that come from therapy. asking them for help is being mature and i'm proud of you for being brave enough to ask for help on here! if they agree to, congratulations, but if they don't, you can always use our 7 Cups free listeners. we will always be here for you. then, you can try again. good luck with this
