Of course, and it's all about looking at the facts of your life and realizing your fears and irrational emotions are just that. They come and go like anything else, so when you feel those feelings, occupy your time with something else.

Awareness help a lot. There really is no "cure", but you can help yourself by being aware of your emotions, accepting them, and learning how to take a step back and breathe.

Depending on the severity, there may or may not be cure. Overcoming and coping with it, though, is very beneficial on whether or not it consumes someone. Learning how badly it affects one's self, is a start. By detecting what bothers them, how badly, and then moving on to ways to combat the negative emotions. Which can be found through support of others, resources or even getting help/counseling.

I don't think that there is a cure to never feel anxious again. There are a few ways to treat anxiety, though. One way is medication and there are multiple ways to make it weaker. You can exercise, practice meditation, get enough sleep, eat healthily. A very big help is if you manage to accept the uncertainty.

As cliche as it sounds, curing anxiety is all about finding time to yourself and doing things that make you happy. Go for a walk, do breathing exercises, play with an animal, find a chat room online, stretch your muscles to relieve tension, etc. In the moment it seems absolutely impossible, but once you get yourself out of that funk and your mind out of the anxiety zone, you will feel better. It might be a temporary cure, but it helps. Long term is harder. You need to be able feel your anxiety coming and be able to stop it before it gets too bad.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
