Yes it is normal to have anxiety attacks every day, they can soon become embedded into someones life. This however does not mean you should have to put up with it without feeling like there is nothing you can do to rectify this.

It is not. There might be an underlying problem if this continues and one needs to seek help at the earliest.

NO. It's normal to be nervous about things. Or to be nervous in general, but most people do not have actual real panic attacks : heart racing, sweating, shaking, feeling like something horrible is going to happen, kind of panic everyday. If this were the norm, you would know about it. So if you are having this kind of panic, there is help and it's definitely not part of most people's everyday lives. Of course there are some people that do experience chronic panic attacks and usually there are self help or therapist led groups for this. There are also different stress reducing activities you can do that help: Yoga, exercise, meditation, music, listening to and singing, reading, etc. There are also medications that can be very helpful. You have to see what works best for you.

Having anxiety is normal, but having debilitating anxiety or daily anxiety attacks is unhealthy.
Have you considered CBT or therapy to learn to manage your anxiety?
Anxiety can be positive at low levels that prompt you to take action. But at the point that it interferes with your life or limits you, it’s no longer at normal healthy levels.
7 cups has resources to help you deal with anxiety by understanding the signs and symptoms. There are also a lot of good strategies in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy that can help you identify negative or anxious thoughts, in order to reframe them.

Unfortunately, it can happen. I've experienced that personally. I would strongly recommend to see a professional about that. I said it can happen, but I never said it's normal. A good therapist can help find a source of that anxiety, it could be just anything. Most of the time I had no idea why I feel that way, it was something unconscious that I wouldn't let out and sort it out. Your subconsciousness sometimes tries to "put the bad things behind a curtain", which then causes anxiety. A good therapist can help you realize why you feel that way and learn how to cope with it.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
