It is always an odd feeling when you know you are wrong. Almost everyone wants to be perfect all the time, but this is nearly impossible to do. Oftentimes, we fail, learn from our mistakes, fail maybe a couple more times, and then we succeed. But when we fail we put ourselves out there, we played a very brave move. And I'm extremely proud of anyone who fails, knowing they tried their best. It is very scary to be pointed out as wrong, but next try considering the fact that everyone fails. Almost everyone has been in that position where you may be. And there is minimal shame in failing because it's important to remember that you're one step closer to greater success.

To me, getting something wrong means that I have failed. My whole life I have felt this pressure to always be correct because it was what was expected of me. Since I grew up with that mindset, it is hard for me now to make mistakes. If I get anything wrong I immediately start shaming myself even when I know it is okay to get things wrong. The aspect of trying new things or answering questions that I am not 100% sure about always scares me because I like being certain in my actions. I want others to view me as someone who rarely messes up. Perhaps you can relate to that?

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
