Hi there! I think the most important thing to do is to focus on taking care of yourself and doing what you can do to help such as following social distancing & maybe helping out with some community efforts (ie- making masks, offering to get groceries for medical workers on the frontline). Some helpful self-care tips I've heard include setting limits on how much time you look at the news for, hosting social gatherings through alternate means such as over the phone or through Zoom, and taking this time to learn some new hobbies. Take care and thanks for reaching out :)

First is to accept that this pandemic that is going around the world is outside of our control. No matter how much we cry or worry, it will not be gone just like that, although I truly wish it would.
But we do have things within our control in handling this pandemic that will give us the greatest chance to survive, not just you but also people around you.
We can see this as an opportunity rather than crisis.
We can choose to stay at home and minimize the spread rather than going out for leisure purpose.
We can choose to wear protection as best as we can when we had to go out to protect yourself and other people.

Hey! I know this is going to sound crazy but everybody is going through this together. I know that doesn't resolve or help your problem at all but that means that people around you or at least everybody on this app relates and can help. The coronavirus is really scary as nothing like this has happened before but it's good to remember that we have scientists and researchers who are finding new information about it every day. The more we find out about it, the more we can control it and the less power it should have over us. You just need to remember that it's not going to be here forever and there are people around you who can relate to your worry so you can always talk to them or anybody on here.

Many people are very worried about the pandemic so your feelings are normal, it’s understandable that you are feeling worried as it is a very scary situation at the moment, as long as you are following the government guidelines and social distancing if you need too leave your home for essential items. You should be safe and understand that you are keeping yourself safe by following them. All you need to maintain is your safety by washing hand frequently and keep your safe from others. Wear a mask when you can. Try not watching the news if you can as that is not great when worried about this pandemic and the least you see or hear the best it is. If you needed to know the importance of the pandemic I’m sure family or friends can inform you. You don’t need to worry about seeing the number of cases or deaths ect

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
