Simply see (look back into your past experience) -- have the bad premonitions you've had in the past really come true reliably? Can you trust your mind and intuition when you're upset?

Please remember that this is just a feeling. I have felt this way many times, but it hasn't been true. Look for the evidence that shows that something bad has happened in the past. Has it occurred frequently? You are in control, and that means that you can overcome this fear. It is not fact, just a feeling.

Let yourself think about the worst possible outcomes. Let yourself think of how you would react to each of these - create a plan ahead of time and let yourself have the time to calm down.
Then think about what are the actual odds of any of these actually happening.
Now you have let yourself think about the problem, come up with solutions, and also realize what little chance of anything happening is. You have taken control of the situation and no longer have anything to fear and you are the one with all the power. Eventually you will likely be able to allow yourself not to worry at all.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
