The signs and symptoms of a panic attack develop abruptly and usually reach their peak within 10 minutes. Most panic attacks end within 20 to 30 minutes, and they rarely last more than an hour. Panic attacks often strike when you're away from home, but they can happen anywhere and at any time.

It all really depends on what the situation involves, and also what type of anxiety it is stemming off.

Anxiety attacks can happen at anytime and place. The best thing to do is practice breathing exercises in my opinion.

That depends on the person and the stressors in their life and how they respond to them. When I was younger I would have them multiple times a day, then as I learned how to cope through meditation and mindfulness and grounding exercises it lessened. Now I have them maybe once a month or every few months. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy helped me a lot as well.

With anxiety there’s no one size fits all handbook, many people experience it differently depending on their own personal triggers. Anxiety can even have dormant periods. The frequency of anxiety attacks depends largely on the emotional state of the individual. The more grounded and serene you are the less and less these attacks will occur.

Depends on what triggers you and how you decide to handle them. Some days are hell to get through, other days are pleasant enough to enjoy it's absence.

It really depends on the person. I know many people, who haven't experienced even mild anxiety attacks, even in life. It's really hard for them to relate to what these attacks feel like. On the contrary, I also know people who experience anxiety attacks multiple times a day. I have seen how it effects them. I have seen how they suffer. This is VERY REAL.

Anxiety attacks can occur at any time of the day, many times a day. They are completely unpredictable and can be very scary. They can also take many different forms and are different for everybody.

There is no minimum or maximum to anxiety attacks, really it depends on the person. Being treated personally for anxiety, I only have panic attacks every so often, maybe once every couple months during a stressful time. Some may have them every day, which I used to. Treatment for anxiety attacks is readily available and very helpful!

It really depends from person to person, especially if there are specific triggers that might be constantly present/hard to avoid.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
