How do you guys stay positive when you've had anxiety for so long?

It's difficult really but usually, I maintain a thought diary, on one end I write the things worrying me and on the other end I write the things that made me smile. I read the worrying thoughts at the end of the day whenever I'm relaxed and at that moment they seem so minor it makes me laugh. But just in case they overwhelm me again, I read the happy thoughts and re-live the happy moment to ease my nerves. Then I make sure to check-mark the worrying thought to reach till the root of the thought, usually by rewinding the scenario, constantly asking myself ''what's the worst thing about this?'' Usually, the root thought is something I know is factually incorrect. Hope this helps!
