Meditation, yoga, working out, refraining negative thoughts and talking with others. These are a few ways that I cope with anxiety in general. A person has to identify the fear from which the anxiety is coming from in order to process it. Once a person knows the fear, they can begin to work through it and possibly overcome the anxiety attached as well as the fear they are experiencing. A person need only to break down the anxiety to get to the rooted fear. A prescription drug only gets you so far with your anxiety, whereas coping skills will get you further and without an addiction.
