I don't know if there is a method that works. I've tried a bunch of stuff but none of them work all the time. Here's the one thing that's helped a bit, though: remember that you're not the only one who's worrying. The one tiny mistake you make when giving out your speech or ordering food won't matter in the long run.

First of all, it is important to realize that you are not alone in this world and that your casual maths test or even an exam is just a small point in the course of life. After a week or a year it will seem insignificant and all the worry you spent over it - unnecessary.
Second of all, learn to accept that neither you nor any other person is perfect and never will be - that is simply humane. Therefore don't be afraid to make mistakes and stumble, you'll get it right eventually. Don't judge others for their mistakes and be kind to yourself as well.
Lastly, build up your self esteem. You can do this by asking others for feedback on your work, outlining at least three positive things that you did during the day or stepping a little out of your comfort zone once in a while.
Good luck! I hope this helped :)

Take life as it comes! You don't have to prove anything to anyone. Know your limits and your own expectations and strive to succeed in those. Failure happens to everybody. If you fail, use that experience as a life lesson and move one! It's all in the past!

completely clear your head of all thoughts, worrying will only make the situation worse, and I say, you can't control what will happen, so just let life ride whatever it is you have going out, because things can only go from bad to good, once you already feel in that bad place things can only get better.

What is happening is that you're worrying about mistakes. Try to come up with a list of possible mistakes that might happen if you do something. With each mistake, ask yourself "How would this outcome really hurt anybody? How can I prevent it?" It will help with paranoia.
