I have always felt a little anxious about my life and the future. The important thing to remember is that each of us has an inner strength that will allow us to overcome anything that we will ourselves to. Keep this in mind always, and approach everything you do with a positive mindset. Then, the fear will go away by itself.

Remember that you're constantly living the unknown! You never know what's going to happen in the next hour, minute, millisecond. Embrace the fear - allow it to become excitement to explore! Who knows? You might find interest in it, or find a good outcome.

In my experience, the answer is in changing the question. The unknown is scary and there will be bad changes - but also good changes! Of course that is something to fear - but also be excited about. The better question - how do we set ourselves up to get the best out of the unknown? When I was going through my decision for a divorce, it was unspeakably scary. I couldn’t imagine what a different life would be after 16 years of this life. And all the loss of the safety. But I was so unhappy. And the only way to get to a better place was to embrace the fear and make the decision to own the future and trust my skills to manage it. And 3 years later, I couldn’t love my life better. Now, I could easily have been lucky. But deciding to own my own decisions and the embrace the unknown immediately made me happier than feeling ‘stuck’ in the past. I had to really realize I would prefer to be wrong betting myself and change than right betting that I couldn’t do it and feeling stuck.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
