I always identified my anxiety by the feeling I get in my gut. It's like you feel guilty but you have nothing to feel guilty about. Or it's the feeling you feeling you get when you miss a step on the staircase.

You can look up common signs online, but only a professional can diagnose you. Personally, i think the diagnosis is much less important than the treatment. You may not technically have anxiety, but you may still benefit from coping skills that help people cope with anxiety disorders. And, you may have anxiety disorder, but even without being diagnosed you can still benefit from implementing new coping methods. If you are concerned you have anxiety though, it is probably best to see a doctor and find out what resources are available to you so you can start feeling better.
