The goal shouldn't be to get rid of your anxiety. That would be like trying to get rid of happiness or sadness. These emotions and feelings are hardwired and part of the human condition. Rather it may be helpful to observe and understand your anxiety objectively through mindfulness so that it does not play such a dominant role in your daily life.

You don't really ever get rid of it, you just overcome it. Stepping out of your comfort zone is scary, but that's where you'll notice growth and it's a place where you'll feel happy because you are making changes, and you will soon realize that your anxiety was stopping you from doing stuff that you know deep down you want to do, all it's doing is stopping you from achieving your dreams! Hope I have helped you in some way.
