Think of your anxiety as an intruder; an unwanted person in your life who's controlling you. Think of them as someone who wants to destroy you and take everything you have from you. Now think of them being in your head; not just in your life but in your mind itself. It's an unwanted presence that can only be removed if you truly believe in yourself and fight back. Don't get scared, get angry. Tell it you will not allow it to control you and no matter how bad it gets, never let it take control. This might sound a little unorthodox but it most certainly works for me on a huge scale.

Find something to replace it with. Ease into acceptance. Don't try to rush it because it'll only complicate things, just take it on day by day and try and find things that'll help you let go of it. For instance walks and getting out more.

A big part of getting over my own anxiety was owning that I am an anxious person with out it being a negative ridiculing thought. You may never get rid of anxiety completely but the goal should be to less anxious moments and celebrating the moments you aren't bogged down with anxiety as the big personal victories they are.

It will always be a part of you. You don't have to try to accept it. Acceptance isn't about trying, just let go and drift away with the breeze of worries and swim in the oceans of dread. It is you, who you are, what you are. A little worry is good, I'd say, since it keeps us from making mistakes. We just need a little between being a little anxious to feeling like the world's gonna end at any moment. You don't have to get rid of it. : )

To heal from anxiety takes alot of time and effort. Always remember to take it 1 step at a time and along the way you might fall back into it but it does not matter always remember to pick your self up and try again this is because the only time you loose is when you quit.

Sometimes it seems like parts of ourselves, or our reactions to things, are such an integral part of our very self, that it is frightening to try and picture what or how we would be without it. Sometimes we even begin to rely on parts of ourselves that we know are not the healthiest. And sometimes, it has become such a huge part inside, that the idea of trying to root it out sounds too daunting to even try. For whatever reason, you are faced with a choice. Do you want to stay where you are, and continue feeling this way? Or do you want to be free of it and it's control over you? If you do decide that you want to be free, then you have come a big part of the way. The decision to change is an important one. To risk working hard, not being sure of the outcome... it's a big deal. How will you function? What will your reactions now be like? Who will you be? Well, without anxiety, the answer seems to be... better. Freer, braver, lighter, happier, calmer, the more at peace version of you. If that is something you wish to try to achieve, then seek qualified help. And keep trying until you find it. As you discover who you really were underneath it all... my bet is you will be surprised by how familiar and good the emerging you will seem to yourself, and then acceptance will take care of itself. And one day your empathy for those with anxiety might even be like your super power. You might choose to do a lot of good helping others find their way out.

I don't think there is a way to get rid of anxiety however, I think accepting help and learning to control it are two of the most important factors of dealing with it. I think finding your happy place and learning how to ground yourself is so important!

Instead of thinking of anxiety as part of you, think of anxiety as a feeling you experience. You will always get anxious, in certain situations, but what you can control is realizing when you are experiencing anxiety and how to cope. By doing this you have accepted a healthy level of being anxious when your body needs to be in an appropriate method while not losing a part of yourself.
