Be honest, even (especially) if the truth is ugly. Nobody's going to understand your feelings if you don't express them truthfully. If you open up yourself to people you'd be surprised how often you'll find your feelings aren't as weird, and you're not as alone, as you originally thought.

The best way for others to understand your feelings is to express them outright. If one of your friends does something that you do not like, pull them to the side and state that it was not right. If they did something directly to you, then it is okay to speak your mind in front of others. If they were willing to do something publicly then it is okay to defend yourself publicly.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
