Shaking hands are often related to feelings of anxiety and/or worry, so the best way to prevent or stop them shaking is to focus on treating the physical symptoms of the anxiety. This can be done by either doing breathing excercises, listening to calming music, relaxing by drinking tea, doing a mindfulness exercise, or even just keeping your hands busy with a toy or doodling.

I sometimes find it helpful to try a grounding technique (e.g. find 5 things you can see, 4 you can touch, 3 you can hear, 2 you can smell, 1 you can taste) or the 478 breathing technique (inhale for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds) which calm the fight or flight response.

Take a few deep breaths. Breathe in for 7 seconds, hold for 4, and release for 8. Clear your mind and remember, you're gonna be okay in the end, even if it doesn't feel like it right now..

Try some relaxation exercises. Close your eyes, breathe in deeply and put your hands up. Move slowly your hands back down and breathe out at the same rythm. Or maybe you need to just go out and go run for a while. Do some sports or physical activities.
