Paranoia comes from within, and I beleive it has a lot to do with self confidence. You should try loving yourself a little more, and not listening to what people say around you too much. People have opinions, and remember they are opinions and not facts.

You can have more trust in people. Your friends, your family, even strangers. But that doesn't mean run off into the sunset with the first person you meet. Just try to be kind, like giving someone a compliment, make them feel better. Eventually it will come back to you.

You can prevent feeling paranoid, by distracting yourself with activities that interest you and you have a true passion for. If you are feeling paranoid, it must be really difficult. You can ease yourself out of being paranoid, first bt recognising what is happening. If you ever doubt something or begin to overthink, immediately relate the recognition of this feeling to the word paranoid, before you have a chance to think further. If you continue to be paranoid, ask yourself different questions that don't relate to the topic that is making you paranoid and try to shift your focus away by changing conversation or topic.

Low self-esteem, mistrust of others, persecutory delusions and certain mental health problems are associated with symptoms of paranoia. Having low self-esteem in their ability to cope, people with this condition are likely to resort to substance abuse. The first step to improve your mental health is to gain information about your paranoia. Training guides on 7 Cups are a great place to start, along with talking to the listeners about your fears. A trained professional can diagnose your paranoia under paranoid personality disorder, delusional disorder and paranoid schizophrenia. Clinical paranoia is severe but regular treatment can make the condition easier to manage.
