This fear is common, perhaps a fear of heights or just the airplanes itself. If you are going to be on one try to distract yourself with sleep, maybe bringing a book or something to pass the time, etc.

I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. Irrational anxieties can't be explained away by reason. So I could give you all the statistics about how unlikely it is that you'll be in an accident, but this wouldn't take away your fears, because that is what irrational fear is: not rational.
Your anxiety may stem from a disorder that you cannot control. Seeing a therapist can help you determine the best way to work through your fear. A therapist can help you develop a plan with coping mechanisms, or decide to suggest that you see a doctor to get medication.
You can probably get a prescription for an anti-anxiety drug that you can take on the plane, but keep in mind this is a temporary fix, and anti-anxiety drugs can be addictive.

There are special courses and classes you can take to move past a fear of flying. I understand how nerve-racking it is! If it's of any comfort, planes are technically the safest method of travel.
