No anxiety does not mean you're crazy or mental. Having anxiety doesn't make you a bad person either; many people deal with it.

No. Anxiety is a naturally occurring feeling that we all have to fight through through the day. By no means does it mean you are crazy or "mental."

Of course not. Everyone gets anxiety sometimes. Getting through anxiety is what makes us stronger people, and no matter what, you can get through it too.

Absolutely not! Having anxiety means you do feel things stronger that how other people does. Having anxiety means you tend to be more sensitive and sensible than average and therefore your feelings are enhanced in a stronger way compared to others.

Not at all. Anxiety is one (unhelpful) facet of the human experience and is very common. We all experience anxiety during our lives but if it is prolonged and impacting on your relationships and/or wellbeing, seek professional help as soon as possible. You don't need to suffer in silence.

Of course not! Most people experience some anxiety at least once in their lives. Having an anxiety disorder does not make you crazy, even if other people make it out to seem that way. In today's world, it's easy to get overwhelmed with life being so fast paced and demanding. We tend to burden ourselves with worrying over the details and for the most part, it comes to cause us harm. It becomes difficult to find ways to relax. There are a lot of techniques that can help ease anxiety and it differs for each person, just like the symptoms vary from one to another. If you're here, it shows you are taking a step towards trying to make yourself more at ease, and it also shows a lot of self awareness. Definitely not crazy!

No. Anxiety is quite normal. There's nothing to be ashamed of. There have been times where I feel crazy/mental but that's just the anxiety talking
The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
