Having anxiety makes you a more sensitive person, more delicate towards certain events or situations. If you are aware of your anxiety, and try to cope with it and control it when possible, then this defiantly is not weakness. On the contrary it shows your inner strength, your determination into wanting to get to know this aspect of your personality better and work on it. Anxiety is not a weakness, it's just one of the many variations of the different reactions all of us might have.

i think it makes us coward not weak, i see anxiety as a rope of thoughts tying us, preventing us from enjoying the present. and i think we should see it as an enemy that we have to get rid of, instead of being distracted from it by anything, we should face it and tell ourselves that all those thoughts are not true, they are only in our mind. because 90% of the times I was anxious at, the reality was much easier than it was in my mind. and the only thing i lost was the happiness and the feeling of peacefulness.

No, it is not a weakness. Anxiety can affect the strongest person, it does not discriminate. By recognizing perceived weaknesses, we can become better and stronger. What is important is to manage it in order to help you live a better life. Whether through therapy, support groups, books, music, mediation or any helpful tool, you can find a way to help yourself manage life. Anxiety can, unfortunately be a part of life sometimes. That doesn't mean it has to be the only part of your life. We build upon our experiences and if we desire it, we can create the best version of ourselves.

Everyone feels anxiety at one point or more in their lives. I have found that many are really good at masking this or just do not feel comfortable disclosing, and that is okay. Being open about your anxiety does not make you any less strong than the person who prefers to mask it. Allowing yourself to express this actually helps you to work towards overcoming your triggers, and working through your anxiety so it does not continue to take a toll on you the way that it has. It is important for you to understand your value as well as all you have to offer for yourself and others. Anxiety is very hard to deal with and move past but not impossible!

Having anxiety and being willing to admit that you have it makes you a strong person. Inherent in the very idea of anxiety lies the tendency to want to sweep away those things about yourself that people might perceive as “bad,” (those of us who are anxious almost always care what others think of us all the time. Most of us suffer that anxiety in silence and it slowly but steadily eats away at our self esteem...having the ability to name it, take ownership of it, bring the monster out into to sunlight means it can be battled more effectively, but also means one is willing to lay oneself bare. Terrifying, but it makes one stronger.

Having anxiety is not a sign of weakness. Anxiety is caused by a variety of factors. Anxiety can be triggered by stressful situations as perceived by an individual. Anxiety can be managed through relaxation techniques and other types of support. Some relaxation techniques are breathing techniques to disrupt that fight or flight response. Recognizing that you are anxious will allow the individual to utilize calming techniques. When anxiety is diminished, it allows the individual to think through the situation, identify the negative thoughts are work through them. Once the negative thoughts are identified and challenged, the individual can replace these anxiety-provoking thoughts and work towards an objective goal.
