Yes I believe so but I think it also develops on it's own. You can have a very laid-back family and still develop anxiety.

Sometimes. Genetics and family history definitely plays a role in mental illness of any kind. Anxiety can manifest itself in multiple shapes and forms within the same family.

Anxiety could run in the family. If a sibling or someone close to you has it then you are more likely to get it, however there are a bunch of ways in which anxiety can stop

From a genetical standpoint, yes, Anxiety is hereditary, it has to do with the way DNA reacts when a person is under a lot of stress. Environmental issues are the biggest culprit and within a family this can affect everyone since stress is usually shared between relatives.

I don't think it does, no. Because I have anxiety but no one else in my family that I know of has it. So I wouldn't think so and also it is a mental illness that can affect anyone so really it just depends how anxious or worrying of a person you are I think.
