I consider that anxiety does not go away entirely. It can only be diminished with a certain brunch of techniques

nope, but you just get good at coping with it, in a positive and healthy way,
so it's not hurting you.

I don't believe anxiety will ever entirely go away, however that doesn't mean it will bother a person for their entire life. Anxiety doesn't mean you will spend the rest of your life suffering under a weight, it means you will spend your life learning how to be gentle. I do not personally believe anxiety needs to rule your life, nor should It make it worse. Naturally- it is obvious that it can be a burden, but each and every person learns throughout their life how to take care of themselves in such a way that it doesn't become their life. So, in conclusion- no, anxiety does not dissipate entirely, but with some support and by taking care of yourself, you can live your life with it,

No, anxiety never truly goes away. It will always be there and the closest thing to curing it is learning to lead a normal life and not let it get the best of you. It will fade over time though.

No, and you wouldn't want it to! Anxiety is a completely normal bodily response...an activation of the fight or flight system. It's what tells the deer to run when the wolf comes, and it's what tells us to stay away from things that will hurt us. But it is possible to work through that anxiety that's happening when it doesn't need to be...the "false alarms" so to speak that tell us that social situations, test, etc. should be feared; the anxiety that for some of us, makes day to day living unbearable.

Anxiety and stress are a normal part of life. It does have some uses, since it can prevent us from making risky decisions or motivate us to do something that is good for us. In this case, anxiety would not ever go away.
For people with anxiety disorders, however, the exaggerated symptoms of anxiety can be pretty hard to manage. I know I deal with it. The more extreme anxiety comes and goes, and I don't know if my mind will ever not be vulnerable to overreacting to stress. However, the good news is that is it is manageable, once you find out once works for you. And you can go for a long while without having anxiety attacks.
I've learned that preventative measures, like knowing when I'll be in a stressful situation soon (e.g. moving to a new apartment soon) and making sure I have people to rely on and making sure that I have what I need to minimize my own stress (e.g. enough sleep, enough meals, some time alone with music) is already set in place at least a week in advance. Having the freedom to ensure this type of "minimizing the harm from stress" environment may take some time though, especially if your living situation is difficult. I had to leave home and become more independent from my parents to truly learn how to manage my own anxiety.

Anxiety may never entirely go away but it can definitely get better. Surround yourself with things or people that make you happy to help take your mind of other things.

No not entirely. And to be quite frank it shouldn't... Anxiety can used as a good energy to get things done. We get anxious sometimes when important things occur in our lives

Anxiety will sadly always be one of those things that lurks in the back of your mind. There are things however, such as doing the things you love, to make you forget about it ♥

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
