Anxiety can be lessened, but we still will feel anxiety to some extent. Knowing what helps your anxiety will give you control over your worries and fears.

Anxiety doesn't usually "entirely" go away, but it can be reduced to a point where you are comfortable and able to function.

No, I don't believe it does. It may become less severe, but it may creep up on you when least expected

I don't think anxiety ever really goes away. As I spend more time caring for myself, I notice that anxiety becomes just another part of myself that needs care. The more lovable I am able to feel in my own eyes, the more manageable my anxiety becomes.
On a more practical note, getting enough sleep and giving myself good food and good movement opportunities helps a lot to improve my ability to cope with daily anxiety.

Sometimes, but mostly it's still there and you just have to use your bag of tricks to keep it in check. The more you practice, the more control you will have over your anxiety.

Given anxiety and depression as disorders are caused by low levels of Serotonin - a chemical imbalance - it'll likely never "go away". However the symptoms of it can be managed either through methods like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or medication. Medication is usually the best option for chemical imbalances, as they're impossible to deal with on their own.

I think of my anxiety like an old sports injury. Yes, it flares up from time to time and I have to be careful not to push myself too hard, but the best thing for it is to keep moving.
Anxiety doesn't have to entirely go away for me to have an enjoyable and worthwhile life :)

Well, everyone experiences anxiety. It's a normal, human feeling. Some people just have it more often and/or feel it more intensely, and this can be minimized through coping skills, therapy, medication, and more. So no, because it's normal, it won't go away entirely. But if you have an anxiety disorder, you can definitely treat it and get your anxiety levels down to a normal level. Good luck :)

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
