It does. But only when you want it to. That will happen only when you end up being the ruler of your feelings.

I believe that anxiety is a natural emotion that has different levels of severity. Over time your anxiety may greatly diminish or vanish altogether. Try speaking with your family doctor or other licensed health care professional on managing and lessening your anxiety.

Honestly, it might not ever go away. But there are ways for it to be relieved. I have lived with anxiety for about 5 years, and there are good days and there are bad days. But, when you go into the day with a good mindset and know how to control it, you talk to others; friends counselors, loved ones, it can become lesser and not arise for days, or weeks even. Some anxiety is good for everyone, it helps stay on task and get studies or work done, but when it begins to consume your life you need to begin trying what you can to keep it in check. Again, it will never fully be gone but it is definitely manageable

In my experience with anxiety, it never truly goes away. However, Im still young so that could change. Before you get discouraged, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It may never "Go away" but you can learn the tools necessary to overcome it. Having those tools (Which can be different for everyone) make living with anxiety much easier. I have "calmness" triggers which I use when Im especially anxious. There is always hope!

Anxiety is, within normal ranges, a human reaction to danger. So it doesn't have to and shouldn't entirely go away. If you are experiencing severe, crippling anxiety, you can learn manage it and bring it down to normal levels. Speaking as someone diagnosed with OCD and generalized anxiety disorder, I found that it is hard work. But the process is full of wonders and actually empowers you. I used to think of my OCD&anxiety disorder as a curse, but now I like to think of it as really hard exam that I have to pass. I learn, I grow and I shall be pass... as long as Gandalf isn't in the way :)

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
