Personally, I think it can. I suffered from anxiety a few years ago for about 6 months when I moved schools, and now I am unaffected. Besides the occasionally tendency to over-think or agonise over something I am practically fine. I would encourage anyone with anxiety to not ever give up hope. Seek help, strive forward, find ways of coping and forge good relationships. Even if these things are difficult at first, they will be well worth it. Mine healed with time, and I hope yours does :) Goodluck!

Yes, it is not permanent. Nothing is permanent, so does anxiety. It might recur but it will pass again

Anxiety may never truly go away. Just as happiness may never go entirely away, anxiety is just another emotion. Just as anxiety is able to push down happiness, we can use happiness to push down anxiety. By doing things that make us comfortable and happy we can beat anxiety. Even though it may never go away, we can beat it every single time by trying our hardest to put on a smile :)

Anxiety is a feeling so I know it will be always be part of me , just like how happiness, peacefulness , sadness , fearfulness , calmness and all the other feelings are. It is not necessary to be afraid of it. I know anxiety is not going to hurt or harm me. I know it can be frightening but I also know that is because I am the one who is feeding it and intensifying it. To overcome it I try to look at every situation I am in at a different angle and accept it. That way , my anxiety does not overwhelm me. I don't get upset with myself if anxiety arises in me or when I react with anxiety when I meet hurdles. I tell myself it's okay and I can try to work on it the next time. I give myself chances and keep trying. Nowadays, I look at anxiety like an old friend who visits me on and off. I can't ban this friend so I learn to befriend my anxiety.

If you make the steps towards building up your confidence around your fears then yes it does. For me it was just pushing myself to socialise with people I wasn't comfortable with, I started with friends of close friends, then just random friends of friends and then I pushed myself into socialising with complete strangers. However I hadn't suffered extreme anxiety so one of the steps you may wish to consider is medication and that is nothing to be ashamed of.
