Do you have any coping mechanisms for anxiety besides breathing or meditation? I've tried both, but it just doesn't seem to work for me.

I write down my thoughts, whether it is good or bad I let it all out on paper. A lot of times doing that helps me let out my stress, which then helps me feel less anxious. Also, talking to someone about it can help too. It could be a friend, family member, or a professional. Either way, letting those anxious feelings out can help a lot. You can also start finding hobbies. Having something to do, and distract yourself from those anxious thoughts can help you manage them. You could also try confronting the thing that makes you feel that way. But don't do that too quickly or in might make it worse. Always take it at a pace fit for you when working with your emotions.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
