It can, but some people may need or prefer medication to help with it, it also helps to talk about it too.

There are a lot of tools in the toolbox when dealing with anxiety. For example, some people find great success with breathing techniques, imagery, and other stress reduction methods. Some people find help through therapy or even with a listener such as those on 7 cups! Medication is another such tool. Though some people find help elsewhere, many find that medication gives them the help they were looking for. Work with your doctor or therapist to find what's best for you.

I believe so, not now but I just need to keep focusing really hard on the things I'm doing to fight it. Getting rid of medication is something I want really badly and I'm currently working on it

Anxiety can very well be managed without the use of medicinal treatment and through other support networks such as the anxiety help guide on 7 Cups or other helplines such as childline where you can talk to a councillor over the phone or on 1-2-1 chat. You may also contact a listener if you need to talk to someone if you are feeling panicky. There are lots of places that can help you manage your anxiety.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
