Yes, I personally manage my anxiety without medication. Some people feel they need medication to get better and that is fine, it's a personal choice and when you have anxiety you need to do what you feel most comfortable with. For me I didn't like the idea of taking medication to feel better, that was my personal choice. There are herbal remedies, diet and exercise changes, talking or cognitive behavioural therapies, a huge amount of things you can test out and try until you find something that works for you.

Depending on your level of anxiety, you could do very well with some psychotherapeutic techniques. Actually, anxiety is one of the relatively easy mental disorders to manage with psychotherapy. Usually, medication should be reserved for acute and severe conditions and not as a life long option for sure.

I have found with experience, that hanging out with close friends and my fiance can ease my anxiety (I have anxiety when going out and thinking people are judging me) and that pets help as well.

Yes, anxiety can definitely be manageable without medication but it depends on the severity of the anxiety. Some people can find coping methods such as meditation or therapy that helps them, and others need medication as well because that does not work for them.
