I think anxiety can be manageable without medication. There are many helpful techniques to reduce everyday anxiety and also helpful strategies for coping with anxiety that pops up on you. Things that you can do to reduce everyday anxiety are: doing some fun physical activity (exercise can produce great stress-reducing hormones which will help reduce anxiety), taking time out to meditate or center yourself, and taking time to focus on your breathing.
Medication can definitely be helpful, but if that isn't the route for you, definitely try some homeopathic remedies for anxiety.
Hope this helps! :)

It takes a lot to overcome anxiety but it does not always need medication. Sometimes, our fears and worries can be cured by the people we surround ourselves with.

Yes! There are many ways to decrease and manage anxiety without medication. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), meditation, and exercise are all effective ways. Medication should be a last resort as it creates a dependency cycle, the effectiveness of the drug can wear off, and there are often side effects.

Your anxiety can certainly be manageable without medication! Of course, everyone is different but there are so many coping methods out there. It’s best to experiment and see what works for you. Some common coping mechanisms include breathing exercises, listening to music, focusing on a few things you can touch/hear/taste, journaling, practicing mindfulness, etc. These are pretty basic methods, but there’s also much more unique ones out there! Also, it’s great to have a support system in your life. This can be your family, friends, or anyone you feel like you can rely on! If you’re unsure if you have a support system in your life, just know that 7 Cups also counts as one, and everyone is here to support you! Remember that when your anxiety feels uncontrollable and it starts to effect your life to the point where you can’t do simple tasks, it’s best to reach out to your healthcare provider and talk about the options.

I overthink situations all the time and worry myself constantly, basically i make it worse than it iss when i shouldnt. I just tend not to think about it till im doing it, that way my anxiety can't stop me

Yes, but it's hard, very hard for most people, but it can be done by finding the reason of why you have anxiety, but like i said, it's very hard, you can do it without taking medication, but if it's too difficult, you don't have to be angry/mad because you need medication's help, like the Sertraline, it's usefull for many people.

Anxiety can be managed without medication in a variety of ways. Number one thing that has helped me is to take myself out of the situation like walk away somehow and take a breather like go to the bathroom at the very least, walk up and down halls, get outside if you can. Ask yourself what is giving you anxiety and walk away from that specifically. Getting too many phone calls at work? Don't answer the phone (if you can). Have a line of customers... see if someone can take your position for a few minutes. I think this method only works in short term or used sparingly or else it could lead to more issues like avoid the actual problems. Look into mindfulness and meditation. In the long run this can help you break away from anxiety and take more control of the situation. Talk to a friend or someone you trust, even if you have a problem trusting people take a chance with someone you feel good about at least. You can really gain a friendship that way. 7 Cups of Tea and talking to anyone available can help you relieve the anxiety by talking it out and having someone who listens. Over time these coping mechanisms may collective resolve anxiety issues. Short term use of anti anxiety medications may be needed through really rough times where you are unable to have the strength to try the above methods (speak with your doctors/providers). Have a goal to not rely on medication and find ways not to become dependent on medication.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
