You could take up some sort of exercise -physical activity releases hormones that induce feelings of joy. There is something for everybody; running, swimming, dancing, tennis or badminton, anything you want. It will help you relax, clear your head and distract yourself. You may even meet new people if you sign up for a class.

There are! You can make an effort to get adequate sleep each night, cut out caffiene, take herbal supplements, use aromatherapy (lavendar is calming and, on the real, smells amazing!), meditate (there are some wonderful and helpful videos on youtube) and exercise (it doesn't need to be super intense--a nice brisk walk will do!). Try any and all of these, and see which one makes a difference for you!

Anxiety is caused by your body producing adrenaline, exercising can use up that adrenaline rather than it building up in your system causing symptoms because it has no where to go.

Yes. :)
-Get plenty of rest.
-Eat a healthy diet
-Exercise
-Talk about your feelings, rather than bottle them up
-Try things to distract yourself when you feel it coming on (i.e. read a book, watch a movie, call a friend)

Absolutely. Identify what your triggers are and learn how to address them. What sets you off? What person or situation or task? Find out what it is about that thing that causes your anxiety, and either find a healthy way to avoid it or find a new way to approach it.

There are a lot of things that can help! Making sure you are exercising (yoga is great) often is a good start. Your diet is an influence as well so avoid alcohol, and sugary things and eat more veggies! Other than that, have a good support system.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
