Absolutely not! Having the feelings you have can never be 'wrong'. You have every right to be alone if you don't want to interact with people. Some people are more introverted and some more extroverted.

It isn't wrong that you need some alone time even when you have opportunity to spend time with your peers because we all need time to ourselves at one point and it differs in everyone when they need it and if you need it your peers will understand.

No, of course you aren't. I'm like that too, I prefer my own company rather than the company of other people. It's just who I am. Everyone is different- some people hate being alone, and for others, alone time is something they cherish.

Not at all! Yes, you should socialize and spend time with your peers, but you have to make sure to take time for yourself as well! Spending time in a group setting can often be overwhelming, so it is important to understand when a situation becomes overwhelming for you and step out when you need to. Alone time can be fun too :) I'm sure your peers and friends will be understanding. So grab your blankets, some tea, a good book or a movie because you've earned this alone time! Your friends will be waiting when you're ready.

The short answer to this is no. Even though socialization is every person's need, the extent and the ways in which each individual seeks it are different for each person. There is nothing wrong in preferring your own company. You should however understand the reasons for such a preference. It may be that the underlying reason for you preferring your company is associated with some mental health issue e.g. depression, trauma, sociocultural shocks, shame and stigma. If these are the reasons for you to avoid your peers' company then you should seek help from therapists or your close friends/family. However, the reason can also be that you enjoy your own company much more than others, as is the case with many artists, musicians and creative people whose inner world is much more beautiful and rich than they can find in the company of others. You may also be an introvert or a person for whom the modes of socialisation are different e.g. you may have very few friends but they may provide you much more nourishing relationship. There is nothing wrong in you preferring to be alone. Just understand the reasons for it and understand the ways you connect with people.
