Hey there, it's understandable to feel hesitant about sharing about your diagnosis with your friends. You absolutely don't have to, till you're comfortable and even then, it's really okay for you to decide how much you want to share with them.
When you do consider, you can try assessing how open, accepting and understanding your friends usually are. If they are new with ADHD, perhaps try explaining more about it, and ask them if they have any questions or want to know more (I feel, people are more understanding and empathetic when they know something better), create a comfortable space for yourself and your friends before you share/ start the talk with them.
Please remember, no diagnosis will ever change what you truly mean to your genuine friends and love ones, no diagnosis would ever define you. You'll always be more than that and deserve understanding, acceptance, kindness, support and love at all times. Sending strength your way.💛
I can’t seem to ever concentrate. My friend says Adderall helps him concentrate. How do I find out if it’s a good option for me?
