Chances are that you care a lot about your work, and because of its level of importance, this may cause you to over-worry about things that could potentially lead to ruin -- in this case, being late to work!

It sounds like work is something that's causing you a lot of stress right now, and something you're worried about getting in trouble at.

It's a normal fear, it must be something you were thinking about before you went to bed. Try relaxation before you go to bed or figure out why your work is stressing you out.
Worrying that you will be late to work is not unusual, especially if you have been berated for arriving late in the past. There can be serious consequences for tardiness, and therefore it is something to be considerate of. If you are concerned that you are running late, perhaps it would be beneficial to wake up earlier, give yourself some time to relax in the morning, so that your journey to work is not rushed, and to ensure that you will not be late.
Because I always overthink and second guess myself even when I know that I am doing well which leads me to constantly check. Also, if anytime I am late it eats away at me when u completely blame myself.
if you are worried about being late for work maybe you should wake up a little earlier and give yourself some extra time to relax
Maybe the reason you are worrying about being late is because you tend to oversleep and than tend to worry more about how it will affect your day.

This could be normal, since work is one of any adults priorities in his/her life, being committed to work make us so keen to be their on time, however, if this is a regular habit, you should practice sleeping before your work time by a decent amount of hours that could help you manage get to work on time or even sooner, by managing to sleep early, it will allow you to feel comfortable and will spread positive energy to your mind - by not to feel for any anxiety after you wake up. Not to mention, it is very important not to go to sleep and you feel depressed or worried or sad or angry - as it has a huge impact on your mind during your sleeping hours and you will most likely feel tired or negative when you wake up. The key is, to properly plan and set goals for your upcoming activities before you sleep and also, to do anything that makes you feel relaxed i.e. reading, listening to music, etc.
It is important to start off your day simple from the moment you get out of bed to eating breakfast brushing your teeth etc. Waking up earlier will give you time to get your morning routine done and also you will make it to work on time. Relax take a deep breath todays going to be a good day
