If the thoughts are positive and strengthening, then its ok. If you are having negative thoughts all the time, there is something that needs to be done. Consecutively arriving bad thoughts can cause anxiety. Positive television (no dramas or horrors), funny podcast – there are a lot of different ways to distract yourself from your bad thoughts, and these distractions can help you stop focusing too much on the thoughts that bring you stress. You can also choose to write down your thoughts. That also helps.

The brain is a fantastic organ, and we don't always understand how it works-- even when talking about our own. If you're finding that your mind is cluttered, consider working on focusing techniques, actively concentrating on one task at a time. You may also wish to consider speaking with your primary care physician, in case your symptoms are linked to ADHD.
Sometimes our thoughts can't clear because we don't empty them out by talking to others. Instead we let them go in and out, staying in our head. Find someone you can trust, and vent. You'll feel better.
Because the brain is trying to work trough the thoughts & process them. Relax & sort trough the thoughts one at the time to make it easier

This normally happens when our minds are in a vicious circle. The more and more we think and overthink, the better the brain becomes at doing it and usually this ends up with us always having 'something going on' but you can help this by doing some relaxation methods such as breathing exercises.

Because you're trying too hard. Give up for once. Let yourself think. Put on some nice music, sit down on the grass, let the sun embrace your whole being and allow yourself to think. Don't fight with those thoughts, embrace them instead. Accept them as a part of you and you'll automatically calm down. Imagine a fish constantly telling herself how she'd wish she was bigger, stronger, so she could defend herself more. She fights with these thoughts and constantly tells herself that she's not enough. Now, what if she decides to embrace those thoughts? Then she'll add some other things to them; for instance, she'd say "Although I'm not as strong as the shark or as big as a whale, I can hide easier because I'm small. That is my weapon." That's how you reach peace.
You can't expect to live a postive life thinking so negatively all the time you need to change your mindset and reverse everything negative.
It takes time to calm someone's mind. Take time for some deep breath, learn to practice meditation, go out for a walk or a quick run. You can't force your mind to empty itself, but you can acknowledge your thoughts, understand them and then let them go. Don't try to force yourself :)

that's how our brain is designed . Mind is a reflex organ . it reacts at everything and fills our head with millions of thoughts and none of those thoughts reveal anything about us
