Building self confidence alone will not suffice; to keep it going every single day without being distracted is the biggest hurdle. 4 most important things you need to always remember when your self confidence is low and to build yourself. 1. Realize the Truth: Do not compare yourself with others. And never put yourself down! One thing you need to realize right NOW is that We All ARE HUMAN BEINGS and start with this thought whenever you feel down. No one is stupid or intelligent(unless they have a serious medical condition or have some supernatural powers). All are built equal. But very few people realize this very fact & exploit their intellectual capabilities and hustle on their skills everyday and that’s how they get ranked top in life. Its All on You! Your state of mind in every circumstance will define your success. So start working on your mindset and eventually you will gain self-confidence for your own success. Every successful person on this planet has realized this truth, worked on his intellect and followed his passion to reach success! And they are no different from us! Can Virat Kohli act like Rajnikanth? Or Can Rajnikanth bat like Virat Kohli? – Both are unique in their own standards and respective fields. And they have realized that they can be better than anyone else by putting in more efforts onto their passion and so there they are! All they did was identifying their passion and working towards it every day! So understanding this fact this very moment that “we all are humans” and touch basing on how you can be intelligent in a particular field or your passion to outclass the rest in that field should boost you up a little. Everyone is good at something. Firstly, find your Passion! (If you have not found it yet! ) 2. Knowledge & Inspiration: If not books yet, get on to You-tube and watch some productive videos to improve your knowledge (search with “How to…”). There will be so many videos which might be helpful for you to improve your knowledge and get ideas on how other people are doing things differently. Check out some motivational and inspirational contents of successful people from different fields! You’d come to a realization that it’s all upto you and reflects directly on what you choose to do right now with your current situation to achieve your goals. Reading books or learning from free online videos will improve your knowledge and having a better understanding on the reality will inspire you and remove your fear of low confidence…. By learning things you become confident and by becoming confident you'll be able to rise above your fears. 3. Skill & Talent: The term talent refers to an inborn and the special ability of a person to do something. A skill is an expertise, which is acquired by the person by learning. Talent is God gifted ability, whereas Skill is an ability in which you put your time and efforts to develop So if you are not talented, do not be worried, you can always develop your skills by repeated practice and work on it until you get it right. And here too – it’s on you… – you need to practice it until you get it right and work towards your passion. 4. Keep it Going Everyday: Now this is where most find it difficult and is the hard part. The best way I would suggest is whenever you feel cut off, you can actually remind yourself of reason “why” you started all this. Write down your passion or dream or whatever you want to achieve in life on a piece of a paper. Take a picture of it and set as wall paper on your Mobile & PC. Stick it in-front of your mirror. The whole idea here is to get your Focus back onto your Passion and Dreams whenever you feel lost or cut-off! Set daily goals and motivate yourself to achieve them knowing you are in the right direction. So think of what you really want to do and dig deep into it work on it every day and outclass the rest. By doing this you are only becoming more knowledgeable in your field. Your fears will eventually vanish and you will start to breathe free of doubts, questions & fear, boosting your self confidence. God Bless!

Having a lack of self-esteem after severe criticism is tough, it's never easy. I know if I was in your shoes and experienced severe criticism rather than constructive criticism, I would have a lack of self-esteem to. Take time for yourself! Start the day with positive affirmations, look yourself in the eyes in the mirror and tell yourself you are amazing, you are strong, you are everything and more, you are making a change and the world I brighter with you in it. Once you have done this a few times it will come more naturally. Try not to overthink the criticism you received, and try not to blame yourself. This will only push you on even more. I want to end this by telling you how strong I think your are. Reaching out for some guidance isn't always easy but you did it! Good luck, stay strong. It's a bad day, month or year but it is not a bad life! :)

Take the criticism constructively. No one deserves to be purposefully put down. I'm sure you are a great worker and are only being criticized so you can improve. See your potential and what you are currently good at. You've proven to be a resourceful person by coming here. That says a lot about your desire to succeed. You can do it. I believe you can. Motivate yourself and be an even better employee than what you currently are. With that said, I wish you the best of luck now and in your future endeavors. Hope this helps and thanks for reaching out!
