I'm sorry to hear that you're sad! If you are experiencing troubling and reoccurring sadness, and have been for a long time, I recommend seeking the advice of a licensed medical professional. Your physician may be able to assist you further with what your next steps should be.
Because you didn't try hard to make yourself happy! Don't think how sad you are, just think how happy you can be :)

You are probably always sad because you suffer from chronic depression or because something around you is making you feel sad.
While you know yourself better than we do, a possible theory could include unhelpful thinking habits. Things such as comparing yourself negatively to others, and using a mental filter that changes how you see others are both examples of this.
There can be many reasons why people feel sad. First, the situation/environment plays a huge role. If people are around the individual who make that person feel upset or people who don't pay attention to that said individual are 2 examples. Another is genetic. Some people lack certain neurotransmitters (ie. serotonin) and are predisposed to resort to sadness.
Sometimes our lives can take an unexpected turn which can then make us sad, or having extremely high expectations that we cannot reach ourselves will make us sad; But, once we take a step back, make some fresh coffee, and smell the roses, we will begin to see the new pronounced happiness in our lives
Put simply I don't know why you're always sad. But smiling and thinking about good things may make you happier. Talking with somebody on 7 cups of tea or anybody else that you trust may help put a smile on your face.
People deal too much with the negative, with what is wrong. Why not try and see positive things, to just touch those things and make them bloom?
I think sadness come from bad thoughts. You would have bad thoughts especially when you overthinking by yourself. Try to surround yourself with positive thinking and talk through it with you family or friends, do not dwell in it by yourself. It would worsened your thoughts and make you sadder
Maybe there is a trigger that is causing u to feel sad in the 1st place. Recognize and deal with the trigger in order to handle the sadness.

You are always sad because someone or something made you sad or an event made you extremely sad too or even a news you read.
